Claire Schoen has worked for twenty years as an independent media producer, creating radio and film documentaries, audio tours for museums, and corporate training tapes. In addition, she's worked as a sound designer and audio engineer for radio, film, video, and theater projects.
Claire's credits include co-producer of Mad River, an hour-long film documentary about the perceived conflict between jobs and the environment. The program was distributed nationally by PBS-TV. She also co-produced Heart of Wisdom, a series of five audio documentaries examining the relationship between culture and identity. Heart of Wisdom was available on cassette as well as being broadcast nationally by American Public Radio.
Over the past three years, Claire has produced more than ninety-five audio features on the environment, health, and education for CBS Radio's The Osgood File. Nevertheless, she considers her best productions to date to be her two children, Rachel and Jonah.
